This notice explains what we collect when you contact EA Memorials, why we need it and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information
EA Memorials is operated by Earths Angel Memorials, registration number 2025/386401/07. We are responsible for the personal information we receive through your enquiries and our work with you.

What we collect
When you make an enquiry, you may choose to give us your name, mobile number, email address, preferred contact method, memorial or artwork reference, cemetery or area and a short message.
Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information about the deceased or your family in the website enquiry.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, discuss the memorial and personalisation you have in mind, prepare or explain a quotation and manage the proofing and order process if you decide to proceed.
We do not use an enquiry as permission to send unrelated marketing messages.
How the website enquiry works
The website does not save your completed enquiry in its own database. When you select “Continue with enquiry”, it prepares a message and opens WhatsApp or your email application. You can review the message before sending it.
Once you send the message, it is handled through WhatsApp or your email provider and appears in our corresponding business communication records. Those services may process information under their own privacy terms.
Who may receive relevant information
We keep your information within EA Memorials unless sharing a relevant part is reasonably necessary to answer your enquiry, prepare your design or fulfil an order you have approved. This may include service providers involved in the memorial process. We only share what is needed for that purpose, unless the law requires otherwise.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order records only for as long as they are reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were collected, our legitimate business records, an agreement with you or a legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or securely disposed of.
Website hosting and technical information
Our hosting provider may process limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. EA Memorials has not added advertising trackers or a marketing-cookie system to this website.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it. You may also ask us to correct inaccurate information, object to certain processing, or delete information that we are no longer entitled to keep.
Contact us first so that we can help. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice if the way we handle enquiries or personal information changes. The current version is dated 8 August 2026.
